In March 2009 one of our performers, Ian Mcdiarmid, passed away. As a tribute to our dear friend WOW Impro along with Brian McInally put on a tribute gig on May 8th, 2009 at Bedworth Arts Centre, a venue Ian performed with WOW many times as well as stand up gigs. All proceeds from the event went to The Acorns Children's Hospice, raising over £250 for the great cause.

 

Ian is, and always will be, truly missed by many of our audience members as well as of course by WOW Impro. As Ian said once, "Comedy.....it's not all about making people laugh"
